We’re on a mission to help people feel better.

Mental health

It's okay to ask for help.

According to a CDC report released in summer 2020, 40% of American adults were dealing with a mental health issue, with younger adults, people of color, and unpaid caregivers being among the hardest hit.

“Nearly six in ten Americans report seeking or wanting to seek mental health services for themselves or a loved one.”

—National Council for Behavioral Health, 2018 study

How we got here

For us, it’s personal.

Our co-founder Alex was diagnosed with depression and ADHD in high school and through the care of a trained medical professional was able to find the right mix of therapist support and hemp extract to help him feel more like himself.

At Feals, we believe in equipping our employees with tools and resources to ensure they’re prioritizing their mental health. The team is encouraged to take self-care days (no questions asked) and given a stipend for mental health care.

When it comes to caring for our community, we’re donating our time and financial support to like-minded organizations that are working to destigmatize mental illness.

The toolkit

Everyone has mental health.

You don’t have to be clinically diagnosed to experience anxiety or depression. Our Mental Health Toolkit was compiled with your emotional well-being in mind, and brings together helpful national and local resources across the country.

State of equity

An unjust reality.

It is estimated that 40,000 Americans are currently incarcerated for hemp-related incidents —incidents that are no longer considered illegal in most states. Feals is supporting The Last Prisoner Project's online programming arm, with our dollars aiding in the mental health challenges of reentry.

Our partners.

Painted Brain addresses mental health challenges and social injustice through art therapy, technology, and education.
